Kulgera - NT - July 21st
After saying goodbye to Coober Pedy and SA we were off to the Northern Territory. We stopped at Marla for fuel and then the next stop would be the SA/NT border.
I had pre completed our paperwork to cross the border so the process was pretty straight forward. Handed in the forms to the local police, answered some questions and we were good to pass. If only the two biddies in the car in front of us were so organised - I think we sat behind them for nearly 10 mins while they faffed about.
We arrived into Kulgera at about 1230. This is the first / last roadhouse in the NT - the caravan park is essentially their car park. A quick sandwich lunch and it was snoozing time. We decided to keep the car hooked up tonight as it was only an overnight stop. We also met a young family travelling - the boy played baseball at the Dodgers!! Small world....
The pub here was great, lots of outback charm. I tried a camel burger, Tony had a huge Kulgera burger and Nate went schnitty. We really do need to learn to share food - huge serves yet again!
